Lifeguard Classes

This American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification Course provides entry-level and recertifying lifeguard participants with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies until emergency medical services (EMS) personnel take over. Participants who pass the course will receive an American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification, allowing them to apply to work at the RLE Parks Pool for the Summer! Age: Must be 15 by class start date

Fee: Newly Certifying-$200

Recertifying-$80 (Recerts must have current, unexpired A.R.C. lifeguard certification)

Spring Classes:

Session 1: Feb. 27-March 1

Session 2: April 17-19

Friday: 4:00-8:00pm

Saturday-Sunday: 9:00am- 4:30pm (Must Complete Online Prework Before Class Start)

Location: Rio Linda High School Pool 6309 Dry Creek Rd. Rio Linda.
