Hunter Safety Class

May contain: elk, animal, wildlife, deer, mammal, poster, advertisement, flyer, paper, and brochure


Registration Instructions (Must Complete all 4 steps)

*All Registrations Occur Through the CA Dept of Fish and Wildlife Website*

  1. All Participants will need a valid GO ID with the CA Department of Fish and Wildlife to register.
    1. Below is the link to visit to create a new GO ID or to retrieve an old one if you already have one.
    2. *Anyone who has previously had a fishing license in CA will already have a GO ID and should use the above link to retrieve their GO ID number by following the instructions under the “Existing Customer” section.  
    3. Once you have your GO ID number proceed to step 2.
  2. Visit (This link will take you directly to the proper registration page for the Rio Linda Class)
    1. Click the green “Register Now” button on the top right hand corner of the page. Complete all pages with the necessary information as prompted.
    2. Once all three registration pages have been completed, you will receive an email confirming your enrollment in the class
  3. Anyone under 18 must complete the Student Consent Form (Link Below) and have it signed by a Parental Guardian. Must bring the completed form to class or email the completed form to

  4. Each student must complete an RLE Parks waiver and bring a completed copy to class or email the completed form to

    2. A separate waiver is needed for each student regardless of age
